Museum Insight: Quay Crafts – Creative Collections

An opportunity to meet some of the artists who have contributed to a brand new exhibition combining the museum’s diverse collection of historic objects with new pieces of art and craft which creatively respond to these objects.  QuayCrafts, a group of contemporary artist-makers based on the Isle of Wight, work in a wide range of media including textiles and stitch, ceramics, print, glass and photography. This ‘Insight’ will include an opportunity to view the exhibition and hear from some of the featured artists about their work, creative process and how they have drawn inspiration from the museum’s historic collection.

Museum Insights are a programme of special talks, designed to give local people an opportunity to find out more about the museum and its collection.

Tickets include tea, coffee and biscuits. Booking is essential.
