Museum Insight: The Isle of Wight Home Guard 1940-1944

Back by popular demand, Steven Williams is repeating his talk on the Home Guard. Steven has studied all aspects of the Home Guard in Britain, with a particular focus on units raised on the Island. The talk will consider some of their roles and responsibilities, together with looking at their equipment and weaponry.

Museum Insights are a programme of special talks, designed to give local people an opportunity to find out more about the museum and its collection.
