Museum Insight: Flora and Fashion – Flowers at the Castle and Museum

Tuesday 26th November, 2019, 2-4pm

Flowers unify this special afternoon, which will start with a presentation by English Heritage Historic Property Steward, Sue Wilson, introducing us to the wild flowers that can be seen at the Castle. Nick Minns and Kate Tiley of Carisbrooke Castle Museum will then help us discover how flowers are featured within the Museum collections, with a special focus on embroidery and costume.

Museum Insights are a programme of special talks, designed to give local people an opportunity to find out more about the museum and its collection.

Tickets are £8 and include tea, coffee and biscuits.

Booking is essential. Call us on 523112, email or book online (small fee applies).

All money raised helps support the work of the Museum.
