Museum Insight: Fighting Fires on the Isle of Wight

Damon Corr will be give a talk on ‘The History of Fighting Fires on the Isle of Wight’. Representing the revived Isle of Wight Fire Brigades Federation, Damon will present a packed ‘fly-through’, from Roman times up to 1948, when the first Isle of Wight Fire Brigade was formed. An illustrated talk with an eclectic mix of heroism, humour and huffiness!

Museum Insights are a programme of special talks, designed to give local people an opportunity to find out more about the museum and its collection.

Tickets are £8 and include tea, coffee and biscuits.
