Victorian Architecture on the Isle of Wight

A new talk at Carisbrooke Castle Museum. Ben Cracknell (MRTPI) is a Conservation Officer and University Lecturer. He lives on the Island and has a deep knowledge of its rich architectural heritage. In this talk, he will introduce, and explore the main ideas and style(s) characteristic of the 19th Century – presenting a selection of notable period building types and examples to be found on the Island.

Advance booking is essential. Tickets, available online, are £5 with proceeds supporting the museum’s work.

Please note: the gates will be open from 6.30pm to 6.50pm
