Volunteering at Carisbrooke Castle Museum
Carisbrooke Castle Museum relies on its dedicated team of approximately 40 volunteers who assist staff with a range of activities and projects

Visitor Welcome (Front of House)
Providing a warm welcome to all visitors to the museum (seasonally, at the museum)

Collections Care & Documentation
Assisting Curatorial Staff in caring for and cataloguing the museum’s collection of historic artefacts (year round, at the museum)

Maintenance and Estates
Helping to maintain and improve the museum, including public and ‘behind the scenes’ areas (year round, at the museum)

Community Outreach Volunteer
Enabling older people out in the community to engage with museum objects, and to encourage reminiscence (year round, off site)

Trustee
Support the good governance of the Museum
We are looking for a new Trustee with a focus on the Museum finances. The closing date for applications is 26th September.
